Programs for children
At Wise House, children don’t just come for “creative play”—they come to live experiences that inspire them, empower them to become better future citizens, and help them understand the world around them.
Our space hosts a wide variety of programs with a significant impact, such as book presentations, creative studios, upcycling workshops, STEM activities using recycled materials, eco-printing workshops, and sessions dedicated to the Greek diet. We also facilitate activities that open up discussions about social inequalities, volunteerism, social contribution, and contemporary social issues.
All programs are designed to blend play with knowledge, in a way that feels nothing like a “lesson.” Through action, creativity, and the joy of participation, children learn about volunteering, the environment, sustainability, cooperation, and respect in a natural and relatable way. They have fun, express themselves, experiment, and—without even realizing it—gain insights and skills that stay with them.
In fact, using the children’s books from our “SDGs Lending Library” as inspiration, we play, create art, and discuss topics such as climate change, equality, racism, peace, sustainable consumption, and food waste.
