Wise House is a hub for volunteering, education, and social impact. A vibrant meeting point for ideas and action, where people come together to take small, meaningful steps that create real change. Here, we don’t just watch or listen. We come to participate, to experiment, to connect, to give back, and to leave a little “different” than when we arrived.
Wise House is an initiative by the multi-award-winning non-profit Wise Greece, recognized by the United Nations and the World Bank for its important social impact. Wise House provides a physical home for this philosophy: bringing social change closer to people, making it more human and more participatory. Our goal? To make social contribution a natural part of our daily lives!
What happens at the Wise House
At the Wise House, there is always something going on, all driven by one common denominator: positive social impact.
We host volunteering activities, educational workshops for children and adults, corporate volunteering programs, events, meetups, and book launches. We spark initiatives and conversations about the world we live in today: the environment, sustainability, social inequalities, and our vital role as active citizens.
SDGs Library: An interactive lending library
Wise House is proud to host the SDGs Library, the first lending library dedicated to the United Nations’ 17 Sustainable Development Goals.
Our bilingual (English-Greek) collection features over 1,000 titles for both adults and children, covering critical themes such as climate change, inequalities, peace and justice, gender equality, and more. It is an ever-growing source of knowledge, constantly updated with new books on the most pressing challenges facing our planet today.
A centerpiece of the Wise House is our mural, a unique work of art created with the support of our sponsors and brought to life by the artist STMTS. The mural is dedicated to UN Sustainable Development Goal 17: Partnerships for the Goals.
It visually captures our deepest belief: that real change only happens when we work together. This isn’t just a decorative piece; it tells the story of the Wise House philosophy.
The Wise House is an open, welcoming, and vibrant space. It is the “place to be” for people who want to give back, learn through action, find inspiration, and spend their time meaningfully.
You don’t need to “know” everything or “be” anyone specific. All you need is the desire to participate. To learn, to explore and to give back.
Here, small acts matter. And together, they become something much greater!
