Maria Fragoudaki, author of the book “Let’s Go Reach the Sky”, kindly donated 100 copies, which were delivered to the Keratsini–Drapetsona Social Grocery Store as part of the Books of Hope initiative.
The book does not follow a conventional plot with a beginning, middle, and end. Instead, it is a tender, soulful collection of poems and songs for children, featuring multiple levels of reading: simple and beautiful for the young ones, while simultaneously opening paths for dialogue and reflection for adults. The combination of words and imagery makes it a work that touches the heart—not only through its story but also through its rhythm and emotion.
This donation brought to life the “Books of Hope” initiative by Wise Greece, which aims to spread joy and bring hope, love, and warmth to children and families in need. Through this initiative, children receive books wrapped in colorful paper, accompanied by wishes written with love.
This initiative reminds us that love and care are meant to be shared—that a book can become a bridge of joy, hope, and warmth for every child and every family.
